Richard vient d’hériter, par son neveu Jon récemment décédé dans un terrible accident qui a également emporté son minable et alcoolique frère et sa charmante belle-sœur, d’un ordinateur confectionné par Jon, alors âgé de 15 ans.<o:p></o:p>

Ce dernier, très doué dans l’électronique, a assemblé différents éléments de jeux et autres composants électriques pour offrir à son oncle l’ordinateur de ses rêves mais le destin (ou plutôt le taux d’alcoolémie de son père alors qu’il conduisait) l’a emporté et empêché de finaliser son cadeau.<o:p></o:p>

His nephew, a real wiz in electronics, assembled various elements of games and other electric components to offer to his uncle the computer he had always dreamed of but fate (or rather the alcohol rate in his father’s blood while he was driving) took him away and prevented from finalizing his present.<o:p></o:p>

Cependant, quand Richard le récupère, il constate avec étonnement que la machine se lance et fait même bien plus.<o:p></o:p>

However, when Richard finally sets hand on the computer, he notices with surprise that the machine switches and does even more.<o:p></o:p>

Richard, professeur d’anglais aigri, écrivain raté, marié à une femme lugubre, oisive et totalement indifférente, a également un fils qui l’ignore et l’insulte.<o:p></o:p>

Richard, a bitter English teacher, an unsuccessful writer, married to a dull, idle and totally indifferent woman, also has a son who ignores and curses him.<o:p></o:p>

Depuis maintenant 15 ans, il compose avec ce qu’il a en se demandant comment son bon à rien de frère a-t-il pu avoir une femme si douce et un fils si intelligent et attachant.<o:p></o:p>

For more than 15 years now, he has been trying to do his best with his own lot wondering how his useless brother had been able to have a so sweet wife and such a talented and witty son.<o:p></o:p>

Mais son nouveau joujou lui offre l’opportunité de changer de vie car chaque mot qu’il écrit se produit dans la réalité. Quelle aubaine !<o:p></o:p>

But now his new toy offers him the opportunity to change his life because every word he writes just happens in reality. What a trill !<o:p></o:p>

Le temps est compté, la machine chauffe dangereusement, Richard fera-t-il les bons choix, aura-t-il le temps de changer sa vie comme il en rêve, saura-t-il formuler correctement ses souhaits ?<o:p></o:p>

Time is running, the machine is heating dangerously, will Richard make the right choices, will he have time to change his life as he dreams about it, will he know how to utter his wishes correctly?<o:p></o:p>
